  • Lack of sport infrastructure (lack of facilities, equipment, structure and knowledge about sport)
  • Nepal features a high level of gender inequality, embedded throughout many aspects of the community

Programme outlines

The programme aims to create a conducive learning environment for both boys and girls at their schools and community by providing sporting opportunities

 

  • Regular sport activities embedded into schools, including developing facilities and equipment, and quality coaching
  • Community empowerment, including building gyms to promote physical exercise throughout families and local people and facilitating community dialogue
  • Instilling gender equality by developing Women's groups  to empower local people to lead on community development and holding gender sensitization classes for local people
  • Life skills classes to empower and up-skill children and community 
  • Sustainable sports by providing seed fund to start sport clubs
