Introduction

The Play For Change Foundation (Charity No.1152390) believes in empowering children and young people with sports and education across the world. Our organisation is made possible through the donations and participation of our stakeholders and partners. The terms and conditions outlined explain how we handle online donations, your information, process refunds and cancellations to monthly payments.

Payment and Security

We take payments through our website using a very modern and sophisticated system that’s very easy to use.

When you come to donate online you enter into a secure area on our website. We have a high level 128 bit to 256 bit SSL encryption and payment is done using Stripe which has the highest level of PCI compliance (Level 1).

Your payment is processed through Stripe’s secure server and your payment details stored within it’s secure admin interface. For more information on the security of Stripe please read more here

We accept Visa, Mastercard and AMEX through Stripe. Payment will be taken in GB pounds (£), and if applicable, your card will be charged according to the exchange rate at that time.

Refunds and cancellations

We can provide a refund on any donation over £100. We are unable to process refunds for less than this amount without an administration fee. Should you decide that you would like a refund on your donation you will need to contact us within a cooling off period of seven working days from the date of the donation.

To request a refund you must email donations@playforchange.com with details on your donation. Such as when it was made and for how much. We will then process the refund and transfer the exact amount back to the card that you had paid on.

We collect recurring payments for monthly donations. If you would like to cancel your monthly donation please email donations@playforchange.com with the subject line ‘Cancellation Request’, complete with your last payment date, how much you paid and your surname. We will process all cancellations within 28 days. You can also contact your bank directly to cancel it at their end.

Please do not supply any card details via email as we cannot be held liable for any liabilities arising from improper use.
